我今年的好幾個來美國讀書的學(xué)生，持B1入境，都是先去了夏校。然后有的學(xué)生是回國，再簽F。有的直接入讀美國的學(xué)校，具體的操作過程。我把我給學(xué)生的這個粘貼過來，希望能幫到你！

Here is what you need to know/do to make this process go smoothly:

· You will be entering the US with your B-1/B-2 visa. Your F-1 visa will not be 'active' yet.

· Before your summer program ends, you will need to apply for a 'Change of Non-Immigrant Status'. This process can be done by using USCIS ELIS (an online system) and filling out Form I-539. You will need a couple of things:

· A copy of your signed I-20

· A copy of your I-94 with the 'prospective student' mark on it

· A bank statement (just like the one you provided to us when you first applied to Stuart, this is just to prove that you have enough funds to attend school here)

· $195.00, which is the I-539 standard fee.

Make sure you don't wait until the very last minute to apply for the change of status - even though you will be fine if the case is still processing, ideally you'd want to make the switch to an F-1 just in time for school to start. Not a big deal if it goes over for a few days/weeks though, as long as you don't have any intents of leaving the country.

2，離開美國回到祖國申請學(xué)生簽證。這種操作比在美國用I-539轉(zhuǎn)換身份容易得多。因為在美國申請轉(zhuǎn)換身份會要求你提供資產(chǎn)證明、以及你要對你從b1簽證轉(zhuǎn)成學(xué)生身份的合理說明等等以及其它相關(guān)說明。我成功地辦理過兩個學(xué)生在美國由B1轉(zhuǎn)換成學(xué)生身份，但我覺得在美國轉(zhuǎn)換身份比學(xué)生在國內(nèi)申請F(tuán)1簽證復(fù)雜很多。建議直接回國申請F(tuán)1簽證。

回來申請面簽。找個合適的面簽時間就好。
