May Xia 學(xué)生美國(guó)的課本都是非常厚重的，但是現(xiàn)在很多課本都有電子版本的，孩子可以購(gòu)買(mǎi)電子版本然后下載到筆記本電腦里，這樣上課就只需要帶筆記本電腦啦。當(dāng)然有些老師會(huì)有特殊要求。。有些英語(yǔ)老師會(huì)要求學(xué)生一定要帶紙質(zhì)的書(shū)來(lái)上課（怕學(xué)生在課上不專(zhuān)心聽(tīng)講玩電腦。。）不過(guò)英語(yǔ)書(shū)都不重的。但是理科的話(huà)一般上課都不帶課本的，帶筆記本記筆記就好。課本主要用來(lái)預(yù)習(xí)和做題的。美國(guó)prep school一般比較常見(jiàn)背包的牌子就是northface還有swissgear, 女生比較喜歡背longchamp。 -
私立學(xué)校自己買(mǎi)的課本,當(dāng)然不回收. 公立回收是因?yàn)檎n本是免費(fèi)使用的.
美國(guó)的教科書(shū)死沉死沉的,再加上大的binder,反正能把孩子的肩膀給壓垮了.現(xiàn)在不少都用電子版本,這樣能減輕一些負(fù)荷.
書(shū)包買(mǎi)Jansport這個(gè)牌子好了,用一到兩年沒(méi)有問(wèn)題. -
課本要自己買(mǎi)。可以買(mǎi)舊書(shū)。用過(guò)的課本也可賣(mài)給下一級(jí)的同學(xué)。

也要看學(xué)校。有的私立學(xué)校課本也要收回的，供下一年的學(xué)生使用。一般，學(xué)校會(huì)在給家長(zhǎng)的信中提及是否要自己買(mǎi)書(shū)，或者是用學(xué)校的書(shū)。

There are recycling of books. For example, at PEA, at the end of each term, students can take their textbooks back to the bookstore to sell back to the school. Students can also buy used books if they don’t want to spend a lot of money on new books. I personally would recommend buying used books since there might be useful information written into the book.
Normally each class would have one textbook. Sometimes the subject teacher may not require you to bring the textbook to class. There are also classes that have open book exams. So it all depends on the teacher and the subject.
In the US, kids do not use pulling luggage. Most kids would use backpacks. So if you don’t want to look different than other students, suggest you use a backpack that has good support for the back.
