You are currently 10th grade and your intention to transfer is to take art courses possibly after school or weekend for your college application since art schools requires your art portfolio as a part of application process. I understand your plan, but it is a little tricky for you transfer in the middle of year, into 10th grade, and into NY Manhattan schools or nearby with easy transportation.
