Our mission
The Hallmarks of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur shape our school as we prepare our girls to lead a life of purpose. Our students are critical thinkers and lifelong learners. They are leaders who respect and care for others. They use their voices to speak up on behalf of those in need, looking to create a world of peace and justice. We welcome students of all religious traditions, guiding them in personal faith formation and inspiring them to see the goodness of God.
Our Community
Our girls create community everywhere. In the classroom. On the fields. In the arts. Our community grows as our students serve those in need. NDA girls support each other in moments both large and small. Friendships formed here create a sisterhood which lasts a lifetime.

The NDA Difference
All-Girls Advantage
Our girls are curious learners ready to explore all that is possible. Girls thrive in all roles here — as class president; lacrosse or robotics captain; or an advocate for the elderly. An all-girls’ learning community builds an ever-growing sense of confidence. Students lean-into new opportunities, knowing that setbacks are simply opportunities to grow.
Middle School: Cuvilly Confidence
Cuvilly, our middle school division, is where girls begin to learn and explore. Cuvilly is grounded in critical thinking and shaped by interdisciplinary learning. Our middle school girls grow in confidence and gain resiliency — skills which help them thrive and set a strong foundation for high school.
Singular High School Experience
NDA’s singular academics support girls who are excited to learn. We offer more than twenty AP courses, small class size, and interactive learning. Our distinguished faculty takes students on a deep dive into learning, sharing their enthusiasm with each class. In 1804, St. Julie, founder of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, vowed to prepare girls for life. This remains our vow today.
Renowned Athletics
Our exceptional student-athletes and coaches reflect the values of our athletic program — values which balance competitive performance, academic achievement, and sportsmanship. NDA teams consistently reach the playoffs and compete for state championships. And each year, student-athletes sign national letters of intent to play at the collegiate level.
Clubs to Explore
Learning happens inside the classroom and beyond. Clubs are at the heart of experiential learning and we have 30 different opportunities. We encourage our girls to explore new experiences, make new connections, and grow. We are here to cheer them on.
Artistic Expression
Through the arts, girls explore their relationship to the world around them. Our programs give students an opportunity to express themselves on the stage, in concert, or in the studio. Our girls grow as creative and analytical thinkers, and come together as a community. Their talents bring joy to our entire school and beyond.
School & College Counseling
We support the whole student. To help girls flourish, our school and college counseling department includes a counseling team, adjustment counselor, and two dedicated college advisors. Our college counseling program extends well beyond the support found in most schools. NDA’s comprehensive support to students and families eliminates the need for independent college placement advisors.
Billiart Leadership Institute (BLI)
BLI develops leadership curriculum and creates programming that integrates the Hallmarks of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur into our learning community. Through outside speakers, interdisciplinary education, and connections with alumnae, our girls have real-life experience with the Hallmarks, learning to grow as leaders and prepared for lives of purpose.

“In NDA's theater classes we end up improvising a lot, and it has helped me realize that even scripted things don't always go to plan. It has taught me that I can think efficiently to correct a problem both on and offstage.”

“NDA gave me confidence that I took with me to NYU and ABC News. I feel confident because I know I’m prepared.”

“I wouldn’t be who I am without NDA, I’ve been here since I was in 7th grade. I wasn’t that into academics and my whole life was soccer. NDA is so strong academically and everyone is smart, and it made me want to work harder, too.”

“My favorite part of teaching are the students. Being able to share my passion and love of computer science with my students and see them learn and grow to love it the way I do is an amazing experience.”

“Participating in service at NDA has been nothing short of life changing. When I began going on outreach trips and attending community service opportunities my perspective changed. I realized that I have to use the opportunities I get to provide and care for those who may not have the same opportunities.”
