Why Lauralton Hall?
The Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall educates young women in grades 9-12. Established in 1905 by the Sisters of Mercy, Lauralton is a Catholic independent school inspired by Mercy tradition. We know for a fact, based on more than a century of experience, that young women thrive in an all-girls school environment.
Lauralton Hall believes in the power of the female mind; we believe that all young women can grow and blossom into their best selves.
Mercy is a path we walk each day. This path leads us to commit to a lifetime of serving and caring for each other.
The values that inspired the Sisters of Mercy more than 180 years ago remain a living, breathing part of our community today.
Through a challenging and supportive environment, each girl is given the opportunity to discover her own strengths and talents and to become an independent creative thinker.
Understanding and respecting other cultures, the global economy, and how to interact in different settings are essential skills our students learn.
A broad spirituality underlies Lauralton's holistic approach to education. We welcome and include all who wish to grow in spirituality, wisdom and character.
