Canada Star Secondary School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school founded in 2013, with the vision of fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment for tomorrow’s global leaders. As approved by the British Columbia Ministry of Education, our high school offers the British Columbia Grade 8-12 curriculum. Our campus is located in the quiet and beautiful city of Richmond, in the Greater Vancouver area, and delivers the highest-quality learning system and personalized university plans for students.
Canada Star Secondary School has been home to countless Canadian and international students from across the world. We provide a rigorous, yet supportive, study plan to ensure all of our students are prepared to gain admission to a top Canadian or U.S. university of their choice. Our main goal is to encourage intellectual curiosity, independent thought, and effective learning habits that lead to admission to top universities.
University Success
As a private school, we have one important goal: to prepare each of our students to gain acceptance into one of the world’s top universities. We give our students more than just academic skills, we provide them with tools, academic knowledge, and rigorous training to prepare them for success.
To date, 95% of our graduates have secured a place in a high ranking Canadian or US university.
$700,000.00 in scholarships have been offered to Canada Star Secondary School students in 2024!
Over 120 university offers were presented to 29 members of the class of 2024.

I really love the staff and the principal at this school because they try their best to get you on track to be successful. The students and faculty are so friendly. There is also a variety of clubs to participate in, for anyone’s interests. I am personally in the debate club, which has been a great experience. The classes and schedule at Canada Star Secondary are very flexible and personalized. I like this because some students need extra time to go to work, and this feature at this school accommodates that, which I really appreciate.
